You grant CONNECT a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content solely as reasonably necessary to evaluate your application, provide the Services, communicate with potential matches, operate CONNECT’s business, and improve the Services, subject to CONNECT’s privacy policy and any separate written agreement.
You may not submit content that is false, misleading, infringing, unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy, malicious, or otherwise inappropriate. CONNECT may remove, reject, edit, or decline to use content at any time.
14. Intellectual Property

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CONNECT’s total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services, these Terms, the website, an event, an Introduction, or any relationship or communication resulting from the Services will not exceed the amount actually paid by the Client to CONNECT for the specific service package giving rise to the claim during the six (6) months before the event giving rise to liability, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
20. Release
You release CONNECT and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to your voluntary participation in the Services; communications or meetings with Other CONNECT Users; events or venues; third-party services; personal decisions made before, during, or after an Introduction; and the conduct, statements, omissions, or background of any Other CONNECT User, except to the extent such release is prohibited by applicable law.
21. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CONNECT and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) information, photographs, or content you provide; (d) your interaction with another Member; (e) your violation of any law or the rights of another person; or (f) your fraud, misconduct, negligence, misrepresentation, harassment, or unsafe conduct.

24. Changes to These Terms
CONNECT may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be effective when posted, provided electronically, or otherwise communicated, unless a later effective date is stated. Material changes will not retroactively reduce a Client’s paid service rights under an existing signed agreement unless permitted by law or agreed in writing.
